Hayden's Baptism
My boy turned 8 on May 23rd and was Baptized on May 30th. He was so excited for his special day. He just grinned from ear to ear. After the baptism we went to my favorite, chik-fil-a for lunch and ice cream with the Lenz family. Hayden had fun playing in the kid zone while the parents watched from the glass window. It was a great day.
He was a little nervous to get in the water because his sisters teased him about not coming back up. I had to convince him that there was no way his Dad was going to drown him! Silly girls!
Look at that face!
Hayden shaking the Bishop's hand. I wonder what is going through that mind?
How Cute!
I love you my Hayden boy!
This is the Family. Left to right; Jasmine, Pat, Me, Jesika and on the bottom Kassidy and Hayden. Thank you Salina for all of these great pictures.

New floor and furniture
This is the new couch. Finally after having the old one for 15 years. It was great while it lasted but long overdue for something new. We are getting 2 Chairs that match but they won't be in for another week or so. This is the new floor. Kassidy has fun riding her little bike around on it. I have fun sliding across it in my socks. Kassidy and I play a game doing that. I am trying to pick out some rugs and that will end the sock sliding. Darn! We absolutely love this floor. It goes from the entry way through the kitchen to this little family room and then down the hall to the 3 bedrooms.
Halloween 2008
Here are the kids on the front steps. It was warm for Halloween this year which allowed us to trick or treat longer. It was a lot of fun. Some of the people in the neighborhood had hot chocolate they were serving out of their garages. It was awesome! Hayden was in Star Wars Heaven when this Storm Trooper came walking down the street. How awesome is this costume? He looks like he was in the movie. He said that he ordered it and it was quite pricey. I bet, but it was so cool!
These are a couple friends from work. Laci is a Vampire (Twilight fan), Carlen had this shirt on that the heart blinked. She thought it was funny because she has a pace maker. She had me write on the heart and it said, "Carlen's pace maker." Then there is me and I was supposed to be Pippy Longstocking.

Another one got sTiTcHeS!
Apparently Jesika felt left out that Kassidy had gotten stitches back in September and wanted to be just like her little sis. Jesika was trying to bring 2 scooters home from her friends house and ended up face planting it in the street. Pat and I were gone to pick up a couch so Jesika ran to another friend's house and asked them to help her. That Mom called my cell phone to let me know what had happened and that it looked like she would need stitches. Thankfully we were only about 5 min away from being home. Pat took her to get stitched up and didn't get home until almost midnight. This happened back on the 13th. Jesika has had a rough year so far. She had strep back in March. That cause a major flare up in her psoriasis. She had gone to the dermatologist earlier that day and she has just recovered from being very ill all this past week. It seems like it was just a bad virus that caused her to run 104 temperature for about 4 days, cough and runny nose. So far no one else has caught it (knock on wood). Hopefully she will have it a little easier the rest of the year. By the way she ended up with a total of 6 stiches and her Dad took them out with my assistance.
EEEK!!! SPIDER!
I need to play a little catch up. I am going to try and start posting some old stuff along with the new. I am trying to be a better blogger. You never know I might even tackle facebook. Whoa! Anyway, this is a picture of the spider we found in one of the window wells. This one is actually the small one. A couple days before I found one just like this but a lot bigger IN MY GARAGE!!!! I swear the abdomen on it was at least a good 2 inches. The leg spread had to of been 5-6 inches. It was scary! That's what you get when you live close to a field. Needless to say that they are dead and I had nightmares about them. A few of the neighbors told me they were hobo spiders which are very poisonous. I researched this online and found that people mistake regular Wolfe spiders for Hobo all the time. Granted that a Hobo is in the Wolfe family, but here in the U.S.A the regular Wolfe spider can get this big. Also, the bigger they are the less poisonous they are. I hope to not get a visit from one of these again this summer! Everyone has also reported that they only find them outside. That is comforting given that my nightmares were about them being in my home an crawling on me. I think I would have a serious panic attack at that point. Lucky for me Brandon Ellis was visiting and the spider in the garage was right by his foot, so he killed it! (CRUNCH!!!) and this small on my brave husband took care of with the neighbors 5 iron that they leave on the side of their house very conveniently.

Disney on Ice
Kassidy and I were invited by her friend to got the Disney on Ice show. Unfortunately her friend ended up getting sick and wasn't able to go. They gave me the tickets and I took My 3 girls and Jasmine's friend Nikelle. It was a lot of fun. Thanks for the tickets! We got to see several of the Disney stories such as, Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch and Peter Pan.
This was Kassidy's first Disney on Ice show. She had fun, but she kept saying that she didn't get to see enough Princess's
The girls were salivating over Lilo's sister's boyfriend. He skated around in nothing but swim trunks. I guess all the guys at school need to start painting their abs on as well.
