EEEK!!! SPIDER!

I need to play a little catch up. I am going to try and start posting some old stuff along with the new. I am trying to be a better blogger. You never know I might even tackle facebook. Whoa! Anyway, this is a picture of the spider we found in one of the window wells. This one is actually the small one. A couple days before I found one just like this but a lot bigger IN MY GARAGE!!!! I swear the abdomen on it was at least a good 2 inches. The leg spread had to of been 5-6 inches. It was scary! That's what you get when you live close to a field. Needless to say that they are dead and I had nightmares about them. A few of the neighbors told me they were hobo spiders which are very poisonous. I researched this online and found that people mistake regular Wolfe spiders for Hobo all the time. Granted that a Hobo is in the Wolfe family, but here in the U.S.A the regular Wolfe spider can get this big. Also, the bigger they are the less poisonous they are. I hope to not get a visit from one of these again this summer! Everyone has also reported that they only find them outside. That is comforting given that my nightmares were about them being in my home an crawling on me. I think I would have a serious panic attack at that point. Lucky for me Brandon Ellis was visiting and the spider in the garage was right by his foot, so he killed it! (CRUNCH!!!) and this small on my brave husband took care of with the neighbors 5 iron that they leave on the side of their house very conveniently.

Disney on Ice

Kassidy and I were invited by her friend to got the Disney on Ice show.  Unfortunately her friend ended up getting sick and wasn't able to go.  They gave me the tickets and I took My 3 girls and Jasmine's friend Nikelle.  It was a lot of fun.  Thanks for the tickets!  We got to see several of the Disney stories such as, Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch and Peter Pan.

This was Kassidy's first Disney on Ice show.  She had fun, but she kept saying that she didn't get to see enough Princess's

The girls were salivating over Lilo's sister's boyfriend.  He skated around in nothing but swim trunks.  I guess all the guys at school need to start painting their abs on as well.

Churros!!!

Jasmine loves to cook and bake.  Seems like she must take after someone that I know.  She is in a foods class at school and she is keeping her own cookbook.  Her assignment was to make churros and then present pictures to her class.  She is going to be a great cook.

This is the finished product.  They were so yummy!

I am a ReTaRd!!!

Okay, so I decided that I would review the comments made to my blog just in case someone I didn't know tried to post something weird. I thought they would go to my email to review. I have been checking my email all of these months thinking that no one was posting comments. I have even logged into my blog and NEVER have noticed that it said I had comments to review! What a dip I am. I am so sorry to all of my faithful fans who have commented many months ago and that I obviously don't know how to blog. Thank you for all of the cute comments.

P.S. You have to be faithful fan because I am a slow blogger. I love you all!

Ace Hole in front of the Temple

Pat always has to give a crazy pose for a picture. Rocker and tounge hanging out like the rolling stones. Hayden just looks like he is trying to stay warm. I like the tax train in the background. I think that looks really cool. They also got to witness a bunch of cops with their guns drawn out yelling at someone to get out of the car and walk slowly backwards. That's a lot of excitment for one night.
Last night Pat took the well children downtown to Temple Square to see the lights and take a carriage ride. We were all dressed and ready to go when I kissed Kassidy's head and she was burning hot. Dabnabit! Everytime we have planned to go someone is sick. Back on the 8th Kassidy threw up, then a week later Jesika puked and then this last Thursday Hayden threw up. Kassidy is running a high fever with no other obvious symptoms. This must be something new that has nothing to do with what we have already had. I ended up staying home with Kassidy and watching movies.

The horses name is "Ace". Pat had told the kids that it was nice to have an ace in the hole then he said, "Did I just say Acehole in front of the Temple." What a funny Dad!

Jazz & Jesi during the carriage ride with ace. They had to stay warm with blankets and a little snuggling. They also said that ace had gas and unfortunatley you are always behind the horse on a carriage ride. Maybe he was just trying to keep them warm too. STINKY!

Hush little Kassidy...don't say a word

One night I told Kassidy to go to bed and when I went to go to bed myself, I found her in my bed and she climbed into Pat's pajama pants and fell asleep. Although it is no surprise that she went to my bed instead of her own.

Again Kassidy in my bed. She looks so peaceful and sweet. There was no whinning, demmanding, or tugging on my sleeves. I savor these moments. I usually end up moving her to her bed and she usually wakes up sometime in the middle of the night and sneaks back into my bed. It is very funny because she never does this on the nights that her Dad is home. I have to place a pillow between her and me otherwise I get little toes in my back all night and I wake up the next morning very sore.

Peeping....JAZZ

Pat needed some help putting up the Christmas lights. Jasmine was the lucky one elected to help. (Benefit of being the oldest). I will post a picture of the house all lighted up later. We have finally been slammed with snow and the last picture taken you can see green grass and the fall wreath was still on the front door. These windows look into our living room were we now have a 9 ft. pre-lit Christmas tree. We posted our old tree on KSL classifieds for $30. Not a single call. We might be giving it away. The new tree was way easier to set up. I LOVE IT!!!! It is a Georgous tree.
